keep being persistent and don’t take no for an answer. Write as many letters to the credit bureaus as you have to and make many calls.

My husband ran into a similar situation (his parents used his SSN up until he was like 12) and we have had no luck either of trying to get it cleared up. We actually have been turned down for houses because he had 2 evictions before he was 10 and since half of the people are to stupid to realize he was 10 so it was not him we’ve had to lose out on good places to live. After we found this out (we found out about it after he was turned down from one place and we were confused the second place saw the same thing and showed us) we have been trying to get it cleared up and nobody can seem to tell us how either.

Is there a Better Business Bureau in your area? Or some sort of Consumer Office? I think even a body like Centraide could possibly give you a pointer or two.
